mise en place offers people who love to cook and with a passion for learning, the ability to work alongside Denver's top chefs! 

You will be required to participate in set up through clean up of the class.  Generally, this means working an hour before class starts to an hour to an hour after class ends.  The first time you volunteer, you will need to show up 1 1/2 hours before class so you can familiarize yourself with the kitchen.  You will be assisting the chefs and the students in the kitchen, as well as general responsibilities of shining glasses, bussing tables, plating courses, and assisting with general cleanup. 

Except for the first class, the volunteers earn tips from all the classes.  In addition, you'll be fed dinner, often take home leftovers, and receive recipes from the class.
